On Thursday 8th May a number of Army and RAF SNCOs were invited to attend VE Day concert. It took place on Horse Guards Parade in the evening.
King Charles and Queen Camilla along with the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were in the Royal Box alongside many war veterans. King Charles was seated beside centenarian and WWII bomber pilot Harry Richardson, aged 107.

King Charles delivered a speech honouring veterans at the VE Day and the concert was presented by BBC’s Zoe Ball and included performances from Fleur East, The Darkness, Tom Walker and Freya Ridings and others. It marked the end of a few days of remembrance and commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe.
We felt honoured to be in attendance and had a great evening and many thanks to the officers who were able to make this happen.
